Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant (5–8 years) to manage and support SAP landscapes across development, QA, and production environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP system administration, upgrades, patches, performance tuning, and transport management.

This is a hybrid role based in Navi Mumbai / Mumbai (BKC).

Key Responsibilities

✔ Installation, configuration, and administration of SAP systems (ECC / S4 HANA)

✔ SAP kernel upgrades, patching, and system refresh activities

✔ Transport management (STMS) and client copy activities

✔ SAP performance monitoring and tuning

✔ User administration and role management

✔ Backup and recovery planning

✔ SAP system troubleshooting and issue resolution

✔ Managing SAP HANA database administration (if applicable)

✔ Coordination with infrastructure, security, and functional teams

✔ Support audits and ensure compliance with SAP best practices

Required Skills

✔ 5–8 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience

✔ Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments

✔ Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture

✔ Experience with SAP HANA DB administration

✔ Kernel upgrade and patch management experience

✔ Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

✔ Experience in handling production support environments

✔ Good understanding of OS (Linux/Windows) and database concepts

⭐ Preferred

➕ Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)

➕ SAP Solution Manager experience

➕ Exposure to security audits

➕ ITIL knowledge
