Role Overview
We are looking for an AI / ML Engineer Intern who is excited to work on applied machine learning problems in accessibility technology. In this role, you will work on LLM-driven systems, natural language processing, and computer vision models that power Thinklude’s core products, including sign language recognition and multimodal communication systems.
You will contribute to research, model development, and deployment pipelines while collaborating with engineers and product teams to build scalable AI systems used in real deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Research, develop, and deploy AI/ML models including LLM-based solutions for Thinklude’s core products
Build and maintain LLM pipelines including fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment workflows
Collect datasets, train models, and develop end-to-end deep learning pipelines
Develop systems for NLP, computer vision, and multimodal AI applications
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the machine learning and deployment stack
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the engineering team on model improvements
Requirements
Proven experience with Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Experience working with Natural Language Processing and/or Computer Vision (experience in both is preferred)
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or agent frameworks
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with LLM-based coding agents or AI-assisted development tools

Remote internship
Duration: 6 months
Stipend: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
