Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Tite: Automation Tester [Banking Domain]: Role Name: Quality Automation Specialist Experience: 3-5 Years Location- Gurugram Role Overview: The purpose of the role is build, maintain and optimize automated test frameworks for Desktop, Web and API-based applications. The candidate should have strong proficiency in Automation tools, Testing strategies, CI/CD integration with the ability to work collaboratively across Development and QA teams. Key Responsibilities: Review Understand and Analyze Functional requirements for the banking applications. Design and Develop automated test scripts for UI, API and Backend services. Ability to work frameworks – UFT One / Selenium / TestNG / Junit / Cucumber / RestAssured Maintain and Enhance Automation frameworks to ensure reusability and scalability Execute Automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines [GIT, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab] Ability to identify functional bugs early through automation and collaborate with the developers to resolve them. Perform Defect Triage, Track issues, and Verify fixes across multiple releases. Contribution towards regression suite optimization and automation coverage improvements. Preferred Skills: Basic scripting knowledge in VB Script, JAVA. Should have strong knowledge in SQL for data validation and backend testing. Should have working experience with Git, Jenkins, or any other CI/CD tools. Understanding of banking compliance, security policies, transaction flows Should have exposure on application architectures. Should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional /Agile/Scrum teams. Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS/Azure) can be an added advantage
