Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Consultant
with 6–10 years of relevant experience to lead and support end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and support activities for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Payroll. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in payroll processes, integrations, and compliance, along with excellent client-facing and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation and rollout of
SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll
solutions.
Analyze business requirements and design payroll solutions aligned with organizational and statutory needs.
Configure EC Payroll, including pay structures, wage types, schemas, rules, and payroll calendars.
Work closely with Employee Central, Time Management, and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing.
Manage payroll integrations with third-party systems, banks, tax authorities, and SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
Handle country-specific payroll requirements, statutory compliance, tax regulations, and legal reporting.
Support payroll testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and parallel payroll runs.
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues and production incidents.
Provide post-go-live support, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and guide junior consultants.
Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6–10 years of hands-on experience in
SAP Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll .
Strong functional knowledge of payroll processes, statutory compliance, and reporting.
Experience in integrating EC Payroll with Employee Central, Time Management, FI/CO, and third-party systems.
Hands-on experience with payroll configuration, schemas, rules, and wage types.
Knowledge of data migration, payroll control center, and payroll reconciliation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Certification (preferred).
Experience working on global or multi-country payroll implementations.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC Payroll.
Experience in Agile or Hybrid project methodologies.
Nice to Have
Experience with payroll compliance audits and statutory reporting.
Exposure to SuccessFactors Integration Center or CPI integrations.
Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role.
