Mobile Architect

Position: Mobile Development Architect Location: Remote Experience: 10+ years

We are looking for a

hands-on Architect

for a leading IT Services Organization, to lead the technical direction of their mobile ecosystem. You will drive the development of new cross-platform applications, integrate them with cloud backends, and oversee the maintenance and enhancement of our legacy .NET MAUI codebase.

Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Design:

Define and maintain the architecture for iOS and Android apps using cross-platform frameworks. Development:

Write clean, maintainable code and lead integrations with Firebase and other backend systems. Standards & Quality:

Enforce best practices for security and scalability; conduct rigorous code reviews and implement automated testing. Legacy Oversight:

Manage support and feature enhancements for the existing .NET MAUI application. Leadership:

Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid, high-quality delivery.

Required Skills: Experience:

10+ years in mobile development, including 2+ years in an Architect role. Cross-Platform:

Expert-level Ionic/Capacitor (with Angular) and React Native. Native iOS:

Swift, SwiftUI, and XCTest. Native Android:

Kotlin/Java, Jetpack Compose, and Espresso. Cloud:

Deep experience with Firebase integration. Legacy Tech:

Practical knowledge of .NET MAUI.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced performance profiling and optimization for iOS/Android. Experience with AWS and crash reporting tools (e.g., Crashlytics). Strong grasp of mobile UI/UX principles.
