Job Title: AGM/GM โ€“ Renewal Sales & Revenue Operations Location: Remote / Hybrid (India) Reporting: AVP Sales

About TalentGum TalentGum is a fast-growing global ed-tech brand offering live, online extracurricular programs (Music, Dance, Chess, Public Speaking, etc.) for children aged 5โ€“14 years. We serve parents across India, the US, Middle East, and other international markets.

Role Overview We are looking for a highly process-oriented and analytically strong leader to own and scale our Renewal Sales function. This role is critical to improving retention, LTV, and predictable revenue through structured processes, data-driven decision-making, and high-performing renewal teams.

The ideal candidate is a premium B-school graduate with experience in sales operations, renewals, retention, or revenue management, preferably in ed-tech, SaaS, or subscription-led businesses.

Key Responsibilities

1. Renewal Strategy & Ownership โ€ข Own end-to-end renewal revenue across domestic and international markets โ€ข Design and execute renewal playbooks for different cohorts (new, repeat, long-term learners) โ€ข Drive improvements in renewal %, ARPU, and LTV

2. Process Design & Optimization โ€ข Build structured renewal processes across lead allocation, follow-ups, escalation, and closure โ€ข Define SOPs, cadences, and workflows for the renewal sales team โ€ข Continuously identify opportunities and improve efficiency using data

3. Analytics & Reporting โ€ข Track and analyze key metrics: o Renewal rate o Churn reasons o Conversion by cohort / course / counselor o Revenue leakage โ€ข Build dashboards and weekly/monthly reports for leadership โ€ข Use insights to drive experiments and improvements

4. Team Leadership โ€ข Lead, coach, and manage a team of Renewal Counselors / Executives โ€ข Set clear targets, KRAs, and performance benchmarks โ€ข Conduct regular reviews, training, and feedback sessions

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration โ€ข Work closely with Academic Ops, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams โ€ข Share renewal insights to influence curriculum quality, engagement, and customer experience โ€ข Partner with tech teams to improve CRM and automation

Candidate Profile

Must-Have โ€ข MBA from a premium B-school โ€ข 3โ€“8 years of experience in renewals, sales operations, retention, or revenue roles โ€ข Strong analytical mindset; comfortable working with data, dashboards, and funnels โ€ข Highly process-driven with ability to scale systems and teams โ€ข Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Good-to-Have โ€ข Experience in ed-tech, SaaS, subscription, or consumer internet businesses โ€ข Prior exposure to international markets (US / Middle East) โ€ข Experience working with CRMs like LeadSquared, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
