About the Role We are looking for a Senior Category Manager to build and drive the long-term Candidate Success strategy at Virohan. This is not only an execution role—it’s a strategy + operating model role: someone who can define what “great student success” looks like at scale, architect the levers that drive it (retention, engagement, learning outcomes), and create the systems, processes, and cross-functional alignment needed to sustain performance over multiple years.

The role is ideal for someone who has worked as a Category Manager / Program Manager / Growth Manager / Strategy & Ops / Consulting and is excited to: • Identify the biggest strategic bottlenecks in the student lifecycle • Design scalable interventions • Institutionalize playbooks that become “how we run Candidate Success” at Virohan You will operate across the full lifecycle: • Diagnose systemic problems • Pilot and validate solutions • Scale and institutionalize them into repeatable engines of student outcomes

What You’ll Own 1. Define the Candidate Success Strategy & North Star Metrics • Build a multi-year view of what student success means across programs, centres, and cohorts • Define and track North Star and leading indicators across: retention, engagement, attendance, academic progression, and completion • Create dashboards and strategic frameworks to monitor the health of the funnel and predict drop-offs early • Lead structured root-cause analysis to translate broad challenges into solvable strategic problem statements 2. Build the Candidate Success Growth Engine (Experimentation → Scale) • Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage initiatives based on impact, urgency, ROI, and scalability • Design interventions to improve student behaviour, support, delivery quality, and learning outcomes • Own pilots end-to-end: hypothesis → design → rollout → measurement → iteration → recommendation • Establish decision frameworks for what gets scaled and what gets stopped—ensuring focus on long-term value 3. Institutionalize Successful Solutions into Operating Systems • Convert winning pilots into standard operating mechanisms: SOPs, playbooks, workflows, training, and governance • Drive cross-functional rollout with Operations, Academics, Product, and Centre teams—ensuring adoption at scale • Build adherence metrics and monitoring systems to ensure consistency across centres and cohorts • Partner with Product/Tech to embed success levers into systems—so outcomes don’t depend on heroics, but on design You are the right fit if: • You have 4–8 years experience in Strategy & Ops / Growth / Category / Program Management / Consulting • You’ve owned outcomes for a vertical/program with clear KPIs and recurring delivery cycles • You are strong at using data to diagnose problems and create structured, strategic problem decomposition • You’ve built interventions, run pilots, and scaled programs across teams and geographies • You communicate clearly, influence without authority, and can drive alignment across multiple stakeholders • You enjoy creating long-term systems while delivering short-term measurable impact What’s in it for you: • Opportunity to shape the long-term Candidate Success blueprint for Virohan as we scale across India • High visibility role working on company-defining metrics: retention, engagement, learning, and completion • A chance to build the “Candidate Success operating system” that becomes a core strategic moat for Virohan • Strong growth runway into larger strategic leadership roles (Candidate Success Strategy, Central Programs, Business Strategy, Strategy & Ops leadership) • Competitive compensation, ownership, and a culture driven by problem-solving and continuous improvement.
