Dean/Director - Amity School of Architecture & Planning

The Dean/Director will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to strengthen the School’s position as a centre of excellence in Architecture, Urban Design, and Planning education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic and strategic leadership to undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Drive curriculum innovation aligned with global standards and industry needs. Promote research, consultancy, funded projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Strengthen industry, professional body (COA, AICTE, UGC), and international linkages. Mentor faculty, guide PhD scholars, and foster a culture of academic excellence. Oversee accreditation, rankings, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Contribute to the University’s vision, growth, and global outreach.

Eligibility & Experience PhD in Architecture / Planning / Urban Design or allied disciplines. Minimum

15–20 years

of experience in academia, with significant leadership roles. Strong research portfolio with publications, funded projects, or professional practice Experience as

Dean / Director / Head of Department

preferred. Exposure to national/international academic collaborations. Must meet

COA / AICTE / UGC norms , as applicable.
