Technical Lead – Product & Platform Location: Pune (On-site preferred) Experience: 8–12 years Salary: ₹12–14 LPA (Fixed) Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Founder / CEO

Role Overview SwipeLoan is hiring a Technical Lead – Product & Platform to take hands-on ownership of our core technology stack and engineering delivery.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a project manager or corporate delivery role.

You will directly guide backend (PHP/Laravel), mobile (Flutter), QA, and DevOps coordination — ensuring clean architecture, predictable releases, and strong production stability in a fintech environment.

This role is ideal for a strong senior engineer who has grown into leading teams, not a title-driven or enterprise governance profile.

What You Will Own 1️⃣ Backend & Platform Engineering (Primary Focus) Lead and review PHP/Laravel backend development Ensure: Clean APIs Secure authentication flows Scalable database design Clear module ownership Improve code quality and engineering discipline

2️⃣ Mobile & Frontend Collaboration Work closely with Flutter developers Define clean API contracts Ensure stable release coordination Prevent backend/mobile integration issues

3️⃣ Release Quality & Production Stability Define release readiness standards Reduce repeat bugs and rework Ensure rollback discipline Take ownership of production incidents

4️⃣ DevOps & AWS Coordination (Not Infra Architect Role) Work closely with DevOps engineer Ensure: Dev / Staging / Prod separation Secure access governance Deployment discipline Retain accountability over production outcomes

5️⃣ Vendor & Technical Accountability Challenge external vendors technically when required Ensure no vendor controls infra or access Maintain clear scope and execution discipline

Required Skills & Experience 8–12 years of software engineering experience Strong hands-on backend development experience (PHP/Laravel or similar stack) Experience leading small to mid-sized engineering teams (5–15 engineers)

Practical exposure to: REST APIs Authentication systems Cloud environments (AWS preferred) CI/CD basics Proven experience handling production incidents Comfortable saying “No” when required for stability

Good to Have Fintech / lending / payment platform exposure Experience in compliance-heavy environments Prior role as Tech Lead or Engineering Manager Startup experience preferred
