Azure Architect

Job Purpose (both Onsite / Offshore) We are looking for a seasoned Azure Architect to lead the design and implementation of high performance, scalable cloud solutions. You will be the bridge between application development and cloud infrastructure, ensuring our .NET applications are not just "on the cloud" but are truly cloud native. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in Platform Engineering, focusing on internal developer experience, automated governance, and robust integration patterns that allow disparate systems to communicate seamlessly.

Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities • Architectural Leadership: Design end-to-end cloud-native architectures on Azure, focusing on high availability, security, and cost-optimization. • Platform Engineering: Build and maintain internal developer platforms (IDP) to streamline deployment, observability, and infrastructure provisioning. • Integration Strategy: Design and implement complex integration patterns using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and API Management (APIM). • Modern .NET Development: Provide technical oversight and hands-on guidance for .NET Core/8 microservices and serverless functions. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive the adoption of Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to ensure environment consistency. • DevSecOps: Implement automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps) with integrated security scanning and compliance checks.

Job Specification / Skills and Competencies • Azure Mastery: Proven experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Functions, App Services, Azure LogicApps, Azure Data Factory, SQL Database, and Cosmos DB. • Dot Net Expertise: Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework, with a focus on Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). • Integration Patterns: Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and message-based architectures (Pub/Sub). • Platform Mindset: Experience building scalable delivery pipelines and automated environment provisioning. • Security: Deep understanding of Azure AD/Entra ID, Managed Identities, and Key Vault.

Advantageous Skills (The "Nice-to-Haves") • Frontend Awareness: Experience with React or modern JavaScript/TypeScript to help bridge the gap between UI requirements and API design. • Observability: Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and OpenTelemetry. • Certifications: AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert). Soft Skills • Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond the immediate sprint and plan for 2-year scalability. • Mentorship: A passion for upskilling junior and mid-level developers in cloud-best practices. • Stakeholder Management: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into business value for non-technical stakeholders. • Adhere to ISMS policies and procedures
