JD- Contract Manager
The Contract Manager – Telecom & Software Commercials is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end lifecycle ensuring commercially competitive terms, legal compliance, and effective risk management
Key responsibilities
- Own the full contract lifecycle (drafting, review, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and termination) for Network related Equipment and related services
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, licence/subscription agreements, cloud/SaaS contracts, network and service agreements, NDAs, reseller/partner agreements and change orders.
- Analyse contract terms to identify commercial, technical and operational risks; propose and negotiate mitigations and fallback positions aligned to internal policies.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with standard terms and conditions.
- Define, track and manage key obligations (SLAs, KPIs, service credits, milestones, acceptance criteria, licensing metrics, renewals and price adjustments) and drive compliance by all parties.
- Support dispute resolution, claims and escalations related to performance shortfalls, change in scope, delays, penalties, and terminations, coordinating with legal when required.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date contract repositories, versions, correspondence and approvals using contract management tools/CLM systems; ensure audit‑ready documentation.
Required qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in contract/commercial management, with significant exposure to telecom, IT services or software/SaaS deals.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts with enterprise customers, operators, OEMs, cloud/SaaS providers or system integrators.
- Solid understanding of contract law principles, IP and licensing concepts, SLAs/KPIs, limitation of liability, indemnity, warranties, data protection and information security clauses.
- Experience working with contract management or CLM tools and good proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel for commercial/financial models).

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to model deal economics, evaluate pricing/discounting structures and assess financial impact of contract terms.
- Excellent contract drafting, redlining and negotiation skills; ability to balance risk with business objectives and build win‑win solutions.
- Deep understanding of telecom and software business models (subscriptions, licences, managed services, usage‑based charges, SLAs and service credits).
- Strong stakeholder management skills; able to work closely with sales, delivery, finance, legal, procurement and external customers/partners.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and comfort working with complex, multi‑document contract structures.
- Ability to work under tight timelines, manage multiple deals simultaneously, and operate in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
