Job Description
MTCS is planning to create a vertical under Ground Geophysical survey for providing services in the field of Geophysical survey to outside agencies and Government bodies. The candidate will be a key member in delivering the objective.
Acquire field geophysical data
using modern instruments for Magnetic, Gravity, IP–Resistivity, etc.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain geophysical equipment
to ensure high‑quality and accurate data collection in diverse terrain.
Process, analyze, and interpret geophysical datasets
using specialized software
Develop 2D and 3D subsurface models
by integrating geophysical, geological, and geochemical information for exploration and project evaluation.
Prepare detailed technical reports, maps, and presentations
summarizing survey results, interpretations, and recommendations for geologists, engineers, and management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
, including geology, mining, engineering, and external contractors, ensuring smooth project execution.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
to troubleshoot field challenges, data inconsistencies, and modeling complexities.
Communicate findings effectively
through written reports, visual outputs, and presentations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards, best practices, and regulatory guidelines
during field operations and data handling.
Willingness to work in both field and office environments
, including extensive travel to project sites, sometimes in remote locations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in:
Geophysics
Applied Geophysics
Earth Sciences
Geology with specialization in geophysics
Experience min 7+ years in the same.
