About the role The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within the Radar, EW & Communications department. Based in Hyderabad or Bangalore, this role will work closely with the VP – Technical Director to manage cross-functional teams comprising Product Leads, Developers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with technical and business objectives. This role requires strong coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead teams of 4–12 members and drive successful project outcomes in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities Accountability:

Taking ownership of project outcomes, fostering transparency, and upholding integrity throughout the project lifecycle

Prioritizing timely delivery with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer Relation Ship Management

:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication. Engage with the client weekly to establish effective communication channels. Team Leadership:

Build and lead a strong, motivated, and goal-driven team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Project Planning:

Create comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones. Process Adherence:

Ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle to maintain consistency and quality in project execution. Implement and enforce best practices to optimize project efficiency and quality. Documentation Planning and Coordination

: Develop a documentation plan outlining the types of documents required throughout the project lifecycle. Tracking and Monitoring:

Implement systems and tools to track project progress, including task assignments, resource allocation, and budget utilization. Reporting and Analysis:

Generate regular status reports summarizing project progress, accomplishments, and challenges. Delivery Planning & Execution towards closures:

Collaborate with Delivery Team and coordinate Delivery activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within Budget

. Training/Mentoring

: Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, ultimately contributing to project success. Project Budget Tracking:

Monitoring and managing the project budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project remains within budget constraints while delivering the desired outcomes. Training/Mentoring:

Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, ultimately contributing to project success. Effective Work Allocation:

Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their strengths, skills, and availability to optimize productivity and achieve project goals. Support in Recruitment

: Participating in the recruitment process by defining job roles, interviewing candidates, and selecting suitable team members with the required skills and expertise. Project Budget Tracking:

Monitoring and managing the project budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project remains within budget constraints while delivering the desired outcomes.

Qualification Educational Background

:

Bachelor's OR master's degree in engineering, preferred in Electronics and Communications Engineering related field. Industry Experience:

3 to 4 years minimum of experience in Defence Segment. Technical Knowledge:

Preferred understanding of radar or EW or Communications systems. Interpersonal Skills

:

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be extremely resourceful. Domain Expertise:
