About the Role We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience who can manage end-to-end website development, including custom functionality, API integrations, tracking scripts, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in WordPress development and a solid understanding of modern marketing and analytics tracking setups (Pixel, GTM, GA4, server-side tracking, etc.).

Additionally, the candidate should have a deep understanding of SEO-friendly development practices. Every development update, feature enhancement, or website change must be implemented with SEO in mind. Since the website is ultimately built for Google to crawl, index, and rank effectively, the developer must ensure:

● Clean, lightweight code ● Proper URL structures ● Schema markup ● Mobile responsiveness ● Fast-loading pages ● Avoidance of technical SEO issues like duplicate pages, unnecessary scripts, broken links, or indexation problems

The developer should work closely with the SEO and marketing teams to ensure the website aligns with best practices and remains fully optimized for organic visibility and search engine performance.

Key Responsibilities WordPress Development ● Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. ● Customize themes and templates using PHP, HTML, CSS, JS. ● Work with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg). ● Manage and integrate plugins, troubleshoot conflicts.

API Integration ● Implement REST API integrations with WordPress (fetching/posting data). ● Integrate third-party services (CRM, payment gateways, lead forms, external data sources). ● Work with cURL, WP API, JWT tokens, custom routes, etc.

Tracking & Pixel Event Integration ● Implement and configure Facebook Pixel, Google Ads Conversion Tracking, GTM events, and Analytics events. ● Set up custom conversion events, triggers, and data layer pushes. ● Ensure accurate tracking for forms, buttons, page views, and lead events. ● Troubleshoot tracking discrepancies & validate using Test Events/Tag Assistant.

Performance & Optimization ● Improve speed (image optimization, caching, minification). ● Ensure SEO-friendly code structure. ● Perform regular updates, backups, and security checks.

Required Skills ● 2-4 years of experience in WordPress development. ● Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. ● Experience with REST APIs, AJAX, JSON parsing. ● Experience implementing tracking pixels / GTM / GA events. ● Ability to write clean, optimized, maintainable code. ● Familiar with hosting, cPanel, DNS, SSL, migrations. ● Debugging experience (front-end & back-end).

Good to Have ● Basic understanding of UI/UX ● Knowledge of security and hardening for WordPress. ● Experience using Git. ● Familiarity with Git version control. ● Basic knowledge of React and Next.js ● Basic knowledge of Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap

Qualifications ● Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or relevant field.
