We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Enablement team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Lead Specialist - Graphic Design
The Sales Enablement function is a part supports Mercer across multiple geographies & businesses. Sales Enablement team enables Consultants globally with strategic and bespoke solutions for pre/post sales cycle & marketing processes, increasing Mercer’s chances of winning new business through lead generation, managing commercials, client-focused proposals, strategic research, virtual consulting tool & graphic design support.
The incumbent in this role will ensure creation of compelling designs that enact differentiators in the market with enhanced delivery experience. This position balances design, strategy and operational responsibilities, mentoring the design team and to manage senior stakeholder design projects and relationships independently. The role will focus on:
Establishing insight-driven design strategies & practices for client facing collaterals to position Mercer stronger in the market
Highly creative problem solver with blend of business & artistic abilities to communicate ideas and coordinate with stakeholders
Delivering quality service to the stakeholders by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency in project management
Collaborating with businesses on strategic initiatives as well as working on operational improvements to benefit the design process
Experience with project management, mentoring/coaching, and strategically influencing design is a must
Flexibility to work with global stakeholders for project management & discussion/calls
Demonstrating a strong understanding of visual identity & design principles
Understanding cultural sensitivity across countries and business needs of the operating companies to deliver high quality designs

Service Delivery:
Manage multiple concurrent projects while producing high-quality design deliverables, maintaining creative innovation, brand alignment, and continuous performance improvement
Mitigate risk on design projects by creating contingency plans and recommending solutions,
proactively engaging in problem solving
Develop design strategies/ideas and work closely with the stakeholders while building a rapport for long-term growth of the process
Responsible for driving process improvement initiatives within team with a commitment towards timely implementation and adherence
Own accountability by being able to help the team in projects both on technical and business side to adhere to the timelines of the deliverables
Assisting Managers in delivering a high standard of quality on all administration tasks while managing deadlines
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, direct reports, and peer groups
Seamless stakeholder and workflow management entailing timelines negotiations and volume governance
Manage effective resource planning through capacity management and cross utilization measures
Drive review metrics for self as well as team members – Review and approve final layouts
Ensure strong adherence to KPI’s and SLA’s while ensuring colleagues adherence to same.
Problem Solving:
Issue resolution and root cause analysis, whilst assessing the wider employee or client impact and communicate within the team.
Suggest and implement improvements to process and delivery to ensure productivity is maintained and efficiency met.
What you need to have:
College degree in a graphic design, or closely related discipline
5+ years’ experience in a creative services environment with 3 years design management experience
Strong experience with visual and digital storytelling, presentations, and animation
Ability to be creative within established guidelines
Level-headedness and organized under pressure
Ability to work independently and as a team member – end to end project management
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks
Self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Possession of excellent oral and written skills required along with interpersonal skills
Mandatory: Advanced and proven knowledge of MS PowerPoint
Mandatory: Expertise and experience working in latest Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro), and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Familiarity with video production & animation (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition) will be a value add

Certified Adobe designer/Graphic design pertinent degree with corporate design expertise
Proficiency in motion graphics, video production, audio/video editing and animation using Adobe Premiere Pro, After effects and Audition
Strong design aesthetics, attention to details and problem-solving skills
In-depth understanding of visual system and management of multiple brand identities
Ability to multi-task and prioritize time effectively
Adaptable and able to pick up new technologies
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
Executive presence that conveys composure and confidence in all situations
Experience of directly dealing with senior internal stakeholders preferred
Demonstrated ability to work in a globally matrixed and significantly multi-geography, multi-cultural offshore service delivery environment
