WebSphere Commerce Developer

with a strong background in

Java development

and hands-on expertise in

WebSphere Commerce V8

. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting B2B e-commerce applications, working across the full software development lifecycle, and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and WebSphere Commerce V8 Develop and enhance B2B e-commerce solutions Customize and extend WebSphere Commerce components as per business requirements Build and deploy Java-based applications in enterprise environments Work with MVC frameworks to develop scalable web applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, and business stakeholders Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization Participate in application architecture discussions and technical design reviews Ensure best practices in coding, security, and application performance

Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in

Custom Java Development Strong experience standing up and deploying Java-based applications Hands-on experience with

WebSphere Commerce V8 Experience developing

B2B E-commerce applications Strong understanding of

MVC architecture and frameworks Good understanding of web technologies and application servers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with Front-end UI development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) Experience working in remote teams Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and integrations

Soft Skills Strong communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Comfortable working in US Central Time zone
