Freelance Senior Oracle EBS Systems Specialist (Oracle APEX / EAM)

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Systems Specialist with strong expertise in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 environments. The consultant will provide technical and functional support across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Inventory (INV) modules. The role involves supporting an Oracle EBS upgrade project from R12.2.10 to R12.2.15, including functional validation, customization assessment, workflow configuration review, and post-upgrade impact analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle APEX, OAF development, PL/SQL, workflows, and Oracle technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities Provide daily technical and functional support for Oracle EBS EAM, SCM, and Inventory modules Participate in Oracle EBS upgrade activities from R12.2.10 to R12.2.15 Execute and validate EAM functional test cases during upgrade cycles Analyze existing OAF customizations and evaluate upgrade impacts Review AME workflow configurations and approval processes Design, develop, and implement Oracle EBS applications and enhancements Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with Oracle Support for Service Requests Collaborate with business users to gather system and functional requirements Configure, test, and implement Oracle EBS components Support UAT, change management, issue tracking, and resolution activities Maintain documentation for customizations and extensions Ensure compliance with change management processes and SOX controls Technical Environment Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10 / R12.2.15 Oracle Database 12c on Linux (64-bit) Oracle Development Tools: Oracle APEX Java Oracle Application Framework (OAF) PL/SQL and SQL Web-ADI Oracle Workflow Tools: Toad, SQL*Plus Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of IT experience in application development and support 3–5 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite Strong experience in EAM, Inventory, and SCM modules Hands-on experience customizing applications using OAF Experience with Oracle development technologies including APEX, Java, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, and Workflow Experience supporting Oracle EBS upgrades and production environments Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work as both Business Analyst and Developer when required Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
