Position Overview

We are seeking a

Product & Visual Designer

to join our Battery Analytics Platform startup. In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to design intuitive, scalable visuals across the platforms. You will translate complex technical and data-driven requirements into clear diagrams, infographics, technical presentations and high-fidelity designs, ensuring usability and consistency across the platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate complex technical and data-driven requirements into intuitive UI/UX designs, dashboards, diagrams, and visual narrativesDesign user journeys, workflows, and interaction patterns for data-intensive applications Create data visualizations, charts, and analytical interfaces that communicate complex datasets effectively Maintain and evolve a design system to ensure consistency across MEAtec platforms Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product experiences Contribute to presentations, technical materials, website visuals, and marketing assets Support and contribute to UI/UX design implementation and handoff processes Document design decisions, processes, and outputs Stay up to date with trends in data visualization, UX design, battery technologies, and sustainability

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or data visualization-focused roles Strong portfolio demonstrating data visualization, dashboard design, and UI/UX projects Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Sketch, or similar Experience designing for data-heavy or analytical platforms Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear and engaging visual solutions

Core Competencies:

Design principles, typography, grid systems, color theory, composition, and legibility Gestalt principles Accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) Chart logic and information hierarchy Technical illustrations and diagram creation Data visualization and dashboard design Micro-interactions and motion design Design systems and developer handoff processes

Nice to Have:

Advanced Figma skills (variables, tokens, auto-layout, components, variants) Experience with 3D design tools (Blender, Cinema 4D) Interest or experience in battery technologies, energy systems, or sustainability
