We’re Hiring: Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant (Australian Taxation )

Location: Ahmedabad

Shift: Australian Shift (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

Working Days: 5 Days

About the Role:

We are looking for a Tax or Senior Tax Accountant with strong hands-on experience in Australian taxation and compliance. You will be responsible for end-to-end tax preparation, review, and compliance, working closely with Australian clients and firms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review Australian tax returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and SMSFs

* Handle BAS, IAS, and PAYG compliance

* Interpret and apply Australian tax legislation accurately

* Review junior accountants’ work to ensure quality

* Liaise with Australian clients for queries and clarifications

* Manage deadlines per ATO lodgement calendars

* Maintain documentation, working papers, and audit trails

* Support continuous process improvement and SOP adherence

Requirements:

* Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and ATO compliance

* Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Handi/BGL/APS (preferred)

* Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills

* Strong written and verbal English communication

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Prior experience with Australian CPA firms and mentoring juniors is a plus
