Structural Designer

Position: Structural Designer Software: Revit Experience: 5+ Years Location: Mumbai,Gurugram Job Details: 6-12 years of experience in developing the 3D models for civil and structural works for Industrial projects, Data Centre, commercial, mix use projects and FMCG projects for RCC and steel buildings.  Hands-on experience of 3D modeling software like Revit 3D, Navis work, BIM 360 and ACC Educational qualification Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI courses in Civil Draughtsman. Core Strengths  Core competency in drafting and detailing of Civil & Structural designs and should have ability and hands on experience to work on schematic /statutory/ working drawings.  Good Knowledge of 3D modeling software Revit3D and should be able to extract 2D drawing from 3D Revit model and produce finals drawings  Ability to do Material take offs for civil & structural works. Extraction of MTO from Revit is essential.  Good knowledge of steel / reinforced concrete detailing practices (as per international codes) preferable to be able to check & review our global engineering partner’s drawings  Coordinate drafting/modelling activities with other discipline designers  Expert in operating Revit 3D platform, layout development, 3d model creation, layout extraction, Family creation.  Hands-on experience in BIM 360, ACC, plugins addons to efficiently utilize the software capabilities.  Knowledge of Navis works for coordination model development and review Role / Job description  Prepare range of civil and structural drawings such as plans, elevations, sections, details etc.  Preparation of steel structural drawings including connection details  Preparation of civil drawings like grading plans, paving plans, roads, stormwater drainage and sewer details, and other civil plans/details  Good Knowledge of 3D modeling in Revit 3D and should be able to extract 2D drawing and produce finals drawings  Learn and successfully apply company, client, and project drafting standards and procedures  Execute design changes and project drawing revisions  Successfully communicate and correspond with internal design resources.  Material take offs for civil & structural works from Revit Model Skills  Hand on experience of AutoCAD.  Expert knowledge of Revit3D is must.  Good learning and understanding capability  Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi - disciplinary team  Self - driven with good management & reporting capabilities.  Competent user of Microsoft packages like Outlook, Excel & word  Good understanding and ability to learn new software Software Competency  Hand on experience of AutoCAD.  Expert knowledge of Revit 3D.  BIM 360 and ACC  Knowledge of other supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Office 365 is highly desirable.
