Stipend: 6000 for 4 days ( 3,4,5,6 December at Madras Art Week) Location: Chennai (Madras Art Week, Taj Hotel)

We are looking for someone with a deep-rooted love for art and culture, and the passion to make a difference in the lives of artists and artisans by empowering them with technology.

Engage with visitors, explain MeMeraki’s artworks, artists, and craft forms, and provide personalised recommendations. Maintain a clean, well-organised, visually appealing booth throughout the event. Track enquiries, leads, and follow-ups in a structured format for the sales team. Support the curator in ensuring artworks are displayed safely and according to layout guidelines. Coordinate with the central team for inventory updates, packaging requests, and restocking of artworks or promotional materials. Ensure proper handling, care, and movement of artworks to avoid damage during display changes or sales. Share real-time updates, photos, videos, and visitor insights with the social media/content team for event coverage. Collect customer feedback, preferences, and market insights to share with the MeMeraki leadership team. Assist in managing on-site transactions, invoicing, and digital payment support when required. Represent MeMeraki professionally, reflecting our brand values and storytelling approach in every interaction. Help coordinate workshop/demo activities (if any) happening as part of the art week.

Skills & Qualifications Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to sell Indian art and explain the stories and history of Indian art Basic experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools. Previous coursework or experience related to communication, marketing, content creation, or design is a plus. Comfortable interacting with visitors, artisans, and partners on a daily basis. Personal Attributes Highly proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership of tasks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment. Passionate about Indian arts, culture, and heritage — and excited by our mission to spread the “Idea of India”. Enjoys being outdoors/on-site and creating content in real-time. Positive, energetic, and willing to try new content formats. Availability Able to commit 4 full days from 3rd to 6th December in Chennai
