Account Executive

Job Title: Senior Executive – General Accounts ( Preferably from Freight Forwading company)

Location: Mahipalpur, Delhi

Experience: 3 – 10 Years

Salary: Up to ₹5.5 LPA

(Maximum 25–30% hike on current/previous CTC)

Job Purpose

The Senior Executive – General Accounts will be responsible for managing end-to-end general accounting functions, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and financial reporting. The role requires strong experience in accounting operations within the freight forwarding/logistics industry and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial matters.

Role & Responsibilities

General Accounting

- Manage petty cash and oversee day-to-day office expenses - Post accounting entries and maintain general ledger - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records - Billing to foreign clients and reconciliation of receivables - Coordinate with Chennai team for payment processing

Financial Reporting

- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards - Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data - Prepare MIS and financial reports as required

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

- Preparation and submission of statutory returns within prescribed due dates - Experience in taxation, PF calculation, and statutory payments - Preparation of statutory data and documentation - Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory requirements

Audit & Compliance

- Assist in year-end audit process - Coordinate with Internal & Statutory Auditors for documentation - Support financial audits and ensure compliance and accuracy throughout the year

Freight Division Exposure

- Experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics accounting - Working knowledge of freight software such as Fresa and Logisys

Key Deliverables

1. Timely coordination with Internal & Statutory Auditors 2. On-time submission of statutory compliances 3. Accurate preparation of statutory and financial data 4. Seamless coordination with Chennai team for payments

Required Skills (Mandatory)

- Strong experience in General Accounts - Statutory payments and compliance - Posting journal entries and reconciliations - Billing to foreign clients - Bank reconciliation and audit handling

Additional Skills

- Knowledge of Freight software (Fresa / Logisys) - Strong analytical and reporting skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Capability to work under pressure

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or relevant field
