Project Development Engineer (Solar PV)

Job Brief rProcess is looking for an experienced candidate for Engineering division as the Project Development Engineer (Pre-Sales) leads the technical solution development during the tender and Pre-Sales process to secure high-value deals. Working closely with sales and delivery teams, they assess customer requirements, create concept designs, prepare detailed technical bid responses, present proposed solutions, and support project summaries and handover checklists. You will be reporting to Technical Manager EDS.

Roles and Responsibilities • Analyze customer requirements, RFPs and site information to develop optimized solar PV technical solution

for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects . • Create concept designs, system layouts, SLDs, preliminary BOMs and performance estimates for proposal submissions

(C&I) • Prepare detailed technical bid documents, compliance statements and supporting engineering responses • Present proposed solutions to clients, address technical queries and support pre-sales meetings • Conduct technical assessments covering energy yield, equipment selection, grid requirements and design assumptions • Document solution summaries, risks and checklists to ensure smooth project handover to the execution/engineering team Requirements & Skills Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in solar PV design, pre-sales engineering, tendering, or techno-commercial roles. • Knowledge of RFP, Simulation Tools like HelioScope, PVSyst, PV SOL, Homer-pro, Proposal Tools like Orkestra, Energy base , MS Suite, Communication • Experience with commercial/industrial solar projects is preferred • Salary: As per Market Standards • Location: Mysore.
