Mobile Systems Engineer (Contract, Swift AND Kotlin xp Required)

The Opportunity

We are a stealth-mode startup solving one of the most persistent fragmentation problems in software engineering by applying advanced automation and deep system understanding to native platforms.

The Role We are seeking

an engineer with rare, high-fidelity fluency in

both

the iOS and Android ecosystems.

Your work will involve analyzing, deconstructing, and correlating the underlying structures of Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android codebases. You will define how semantic concepts in one OS map to the other at an architectural level.

What You Will Do Architect Indexing Systems:

Build high-performance systems that ingest native code and generate detailed semantic maps of logic, UI hierarchies, and data flows. Define Cross-Platform Heuristics:

Create the \"mapping logic\" that correlates platform-specific implementations (e.g., how a UITableView delegate structure correlates to a RecyclerView adapter pattern). Deep System Analysis:

Research and document the internal behaviors of system frameworks (UIKit/SwiftUI vs. Android Views/Compose) to ensure our engine captures nuance, not just syntax.

Who You Are Bilingual Engineer:

You don't just \"know\" Swift and Kotlin; you understand their compilers, memory models, and standard libraries inside out. You can debate the pros and cons of platform tools and patterns in depth. Systems Thinker:

You look at an app and see a graph of dependencies and state changes, not just a user interface. Abstraction Expert:

You enjoy building tools, libraries, or SDKs that other developers rely on. You understand the complexities of \"meta-programming.\" Curious & Autodidactic:

You are comfortable digging into undocumented APIs or reading AOSP source code to understand how things really work. Requirements 5+ years of professional mobile development experience. Production-level expertise in

Swift (iOS)

Kotlin (Android) . Experience with

ASTs
