Job Role
We are looking for a data-driven Email Marketing Manager with strong expertise in D2C and Klaviyo, who can drive revenue through retention marketing, lifecycle automation, and performance optimization.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for scaling email as a major revenue channel. The ideal candidate understands customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, LTV optimization, and deliverability, and has successfully led and mentored a team.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the end-to-end Email & Retention Marketing strategy for D2C e-commerce brands.
Plan and execute promotional, lifecycle, and transactional campaigns using Klaviyo.
Build and optimize automated flows including Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Cross-sell/Upsell, and Win-back.
Develop advanced audience segmentation, personalization strategies, and dynamic content to improve repeat purchase rate and LTV.
Drive measurable revenue growth through data-led experimentation and structured A/B testing.
Monitor and optimize key KPIs: Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, Revenue per Recipient, Deliverability, and Email-attributed revenue.
Own email contribution to overall e-commerce revenue and retention targets.
Ensure strong deliverability practices, sender reputation management, and list hygiene.
Maintain compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and consent management policies.
Lead and mentor a team (2+ years people management experience required).
Collaborate cross-functionally with Performance Marketing, E-commerce, CRM, Analytics, and Creative teams.
Present performance insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualification
6–10 years of experience in Email Marketing, preferably within e-commerce businesses.
Proven experience in team handling and people management.
Strong hands-on experience with Email Service Platforms (ESPs) and marketing automation tools.
Solid understanding of segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and email analytics.
Working knowledge of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, consent management, and email deliverability best practices.
Experience working with e-commerce platforms and revenue-driven marketing environments.
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
