.NET Fullstack Developer

Location: Remote but involves relocating to Bogota Columbia

About the Role

This is a hands-on, full-stack development role focused on designing and modernizing cloud-based microservices. If you’re an experienced .NET engineer with strong knowledge of Entity Framework, microservice architecture, and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) - and you’re passionate about building high-performance, enterprise grade systems - we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Design and develop microservices using .NET Core / .NET 6+, following clean architecture and domain driven design principles. Implement and manage REST and GraphQL APIs for scalable data access and service interoperability. Design and optimize data models using Entity Framework (EF Core) and SQL Server, ensuring performance and maintainability. Integrate services using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and other messaging patterns for reliable, event driven communication. Build, containerize, and deploy services on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform, and ARM templates for automated deployments. Implement secure coding practices, and integrate SonarQube, Checkmarx, and other code-quality tools. Participate in code reviews, unit/integration testing, and ensure production stability with proactive monitoring and observability practices. Contribute to cloud migration initiatives, moving existing on-prem solutions to Azure-native microservice architectures.

Qualifications

8–12 years of experience in software engineering with strong hands-on development using C# (.NET Core, .NET 6+). Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems. Strong experience with Entity Framework / EF Core, SQL Server, and data performance optimization. Practical experience developing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Working knowledge of Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or similar messaging technologies. Familiarity with containerization (Docker), monitoring tools, and observability best practices. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills within Agile teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Angular, React, or modern JavaScript frameworks for front-end integration. Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB). Exposure to Test Automation using SpecFlow, Selenium, or Postman. Understanding of DevSecOps, application observability, and performance optimization.
