5+ years of experience in editing and proofreading in ENGLISH ** Educational Qualification MANDATORY: B.A./M.A in English **

TITLE : EDITOR / PROOFREADER

Job Responsibilities: Ensure that web content is grammatically correct, logical, well-structured, and coherent Prepare, rewrite and edit content to improve readability while adhering to in-house style guidelines Check the text's references, journal abbreviations, and style reference list. Raise queries to the author regarding these and incorporate changes accordingly. Make comprehensive changes to reflect consistency across the description Review and approve content

Skills & Abilities: Good vocabulary and grammar to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the books Excellent editorial skills A MASTERY of US English grammar. Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Word Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven experience in team and time management Ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities Ability to follow strict deadlines Reading comprehension - Understanding written content in work related documents
