Position: Field Sales Executive โ Exhibitions & Events (Space Selling)

About the Organization
We are the apex trade body representing the domestic gems and jewellery industry in India. The council works in close coordination with government authorities and industry stakeholders to safeguard trade interests, promote fair trade practices, and organize national-level B2B exhibitions, trade fairs, and business networking platforms for the growth of the jewellery sector.
Key Responsibilities
โข Identify and approach potential clients for booth space, sponsorships, and event participation
โข Conduct on-ground client meetings, cold calls, and follow-ups
โข Pitch exhibition opportunities and close sales within given timelines
โข Maintain and grow a pipeline of B2B prospects and decision-makers
โข Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction
โข Keep updated sales reports and databases of leads, meetings, and closures
โข Attend and support GJC exhibitions and trade events as needed
โข Act as a brand ambassador for GJC at all levels of client interaction
Desired Candidate Profile
โข 2โ5 years of experience in field sales / B2B sales / space selling / sponsorship sales
โข Prior experience in event/exhibition companies, media ad sales, or B2B platforms preferred
โข Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills
โข Must be comfortable with field travel and direct client interaction
โข Self-motivated, target-oriented, and relationship-driven
โข Graduation or above (BMS, BBA, MBA preferred)

โข Exhibition & Event Companies (e.g., ABEC, Informa, Radeecal, Future Market Events)
โข Media Houses (e.g., Times Group, Indian Express โ Ad Sales)
โข B2B Platforms (e.g., IndiaMART, Justdial, TradeIndia)
โข Real Estate Expo Sales (e.g., MCHI-CREDAI)
โข FMCG/Telecom Field Sales Teams (for adaptable sales talent)
