Specifically, the Modern Workplace, Support Engineer will :
Serve as Level 1 resource supporting ALIANDO Microsoft Modern Workplace Managed Services customers by having expert-level knowledge regarding the following Microsoft O365/M365 products as it relates to the availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability of:
Exchange Online
Teams
SharePoint Online
Endpoint Manager / Intune
Other O365/M365 Apps such as Power Automate, Insights, Forms, Planner, Stream, Sway, To-Do, Visio, PowerBi (implementation only), Project Online, etc.
Work with Engineers and Support Technicians on resolving incidents and problems for customers.
Design, document, and build solutions for the above-referenced products that meet customer needs around robust, scalable, dependable architecture services conforming to Microsoft’s established best practices.
Design and document assessment, migration, and implementation plan to deploy Microsoft 365 solutions and migrate environments to Microsoft 365.
Serve as the technical expert in one or more M365 / O365 services that can be relied upon by internal resources, customers, and vendors to answer questions and build reference designs.
Assist with Sales as a Pre-Sales resource to answer customer inquiries and promote the Henson Group Managed Services to potential customers.
Participate in limited 24x7 On-Call rotation to assist the global client base.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualification:
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in IT, preferably in large environments, and at least three years of experience in Microsoft 365 technologies.
Lead migration projects such as on-premises to Microsoft 365 Tenants (Email, SharePoint, File Storage Migrations)
Knowledge of tools and best practices required to operate Microsoft 365 Tenants including migration tools, 3 rd
party tools, and PowerShell.
Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues related to the M365/O365 products.
Work experience in large international environments.
Microsoft Expert Certification in at least one of these:
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
or
Microsoft 365 Certified: Exchange Online Specialty
or
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert
And at least two of these:
Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communication Systems Engineer Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Application Developer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
