Senior Network Engineer

Job Description – Network Engineer (5+ Years Experience) Position: Network Engineer Experience: Minimum 5 Years Location: Thane HQ Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Sophos Firewall and overall network infrastructure management. The candidate should be capable of handling network configuration, troubleshooting, and on-site implementation independently. Key Responsibilities ● Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall (UTM/XG/XGS) ● Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, NAT, Routing & Switching ● Firewall rule creation, VPN setup (Site-to-Site & SSL), bandwidth management, and security policies ● Network monitoring, performance optimization, and issue resolution ● Handle site visits for network setup, upgrades, and troubleshooting when required ● Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for link issues and new connections ● Maintain network documentation and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) ● Ensure network security, uptime, and compliance with company standards Required Skills & Knowledge ● Strong expertise in Sophos Firewall ● Hands-on experience with routers, switches, access points ● Knowledge of network security concepts ● Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills ● Ability to work independently and under pressure ● Willingness to work 6 days a week and attend occasional site visits Preferred Qualifications ● Certification in Sophos / Networking (CCNA or equivalent) is an added advantage ● Experience in handling multi-location network environments Soft Skill s ● Good communication skills ● Proactive and responsible attitude ● Team player with a customer-focused mindset
