Position: QA Automation Engineer / SDET Experience: 4.5 – 7 Years Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time / Contract Notice Period: Must be 15 days or less

About the Role we are hiring a skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET with strong experience in API automation, automation frameworks, and Azure-based testing workflows. The ideal candidate must have hands-on SDET experience, strong coding skills, and proficiency in testing backend and microservices.

Key Responsibilities Develop automation test scripts for API testing (REST/SOAP). Work with frameworks like RestAssured, Postman/Newman, Karate, Cypress, or Playwright. Create and maintain automation frameworks using Java/Python/TypeScript. Work with Azure DevOps pipelines for automated test execution. Implement test plans for microservices and cloud-based applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, load, and performance testing. Analyze test failures, debug issues, and ensure high-quality product delivery. Coordinate with developers and product owners in Agile sprints.

Required Skills Strong knowledge of API Automation (must). Experience with Java/Python/TypeScript automation frameworks. Strong hands-on with Postman, RestAssured, Swagger, JMeter. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test execution. Understanding of microservices testing, mocking, stubbing. Strong skills in writing test cases, debugging, and automation strategy. Experience with Git, Agile processes, and test management tools (Jira, Zephyr).

Good to Have Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Docker/Kubernetes basics. Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases for backend validation. Performance testing experience.
