Job Summary
The Head of Pre-Sales will lead the global pre-sales function for EC-Council Global Services, owning end-to-end techno-commercial solutioning and proposal strategy across the entire sales lifecycle. This role serves as the technical authority and solution architect for complex cybersecurity engagements, enabling sales teams to win large, multi-tower, and multi-geography deals.
The incumbent will work closely with global sales leadership, delivery teams, and OEM partners to design differentiated, scalable, and commercially viable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-Sales Leadership & Strategy
Build, lead, and scale a global pre-sales organization supporting multiple geographies and industry verticals.
Define pre-sales frameworks, governance, and best practices to support consistent, high-quality solutioning.
Act as the final escalation point for strategic, large, and complex deal pursuits.
Align pre-sales strategy with business growth, revenue targets, and go-to-market plans.
Techno-Commercial Solutioning & Deal Support
Own end-to-end
techno-commercial modelling
, pricing strategy, and solution feasibility for all major opportunities.
Lead
solution design, proposal building, and response management
for RFPs, RFIs, and large bids.
Provide solution support throughout the
entire sales cycle
, from qualification to deal closure.
Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially competitive, and delivery-ready.
Cybersecurity Services Coverage
Provide pre-sales solution leadership across multiple cybersecurity service towers, including but not limited to:
Security Operations Center (SOC) & Managed Security Services
Cloud & Infrastructure Security
Data Security
Application Security (AppSec)
Infrastructure VAPT
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
OT / ICS Security
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
Forensics & Cyber (FC) Solutions
Secure AI Services
Sales, OEM & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner closely with
global and regional sales leaders
to drive opportunity strategy and win plans.
Liaise with
OEMs, technology partners, and alliances
across different geographies for joint solution development and positioning.
Engage directly with C-level executives, CISOs, and senior stakeholders during critical sales pursuits.
Conduct solution workshops, executive presentations, and technical briefings.
Sales Enablement & Internal Collaboration
Enable sales teams with technical positioning, competitive differentiation, and value-based storytelling.
Develop and maintain pre-sales assets including solution decks, case studies, technical documentation, and proposal templates.
Ensure seamless handover from sales to delivery, maintaining solution integrity post-closure.
Market Intelligence & Capability Development
Stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats, regulations, technologies, and industry trends.
Provide strategic inputs for new service offerings, packaging, and pricing models.
Support partner ecosystem growth and co-creation of differentiated offerings.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Technical & Domain Expertise
Deep expertise across cybersecurity consulting and managed services.
Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures and compliance requirements.
Experience designing complex, multi-tower cybersecurity solutions.
Leadership & Business Skills
Proven ability to lead and mentor senior pre-sales and solution architects.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margins, and deal structuring.
Excellent communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment.
Experience & Qualifications
12–18+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT services, or technology consulting.
5+ years in a senior pre-sale, solutioning, or technical sales leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a strong plus
