Role: We are looking for a

Music Data Analyst

to monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of music content across digital platforms, including Meta, YouTube, and various audio streaming services. The role involves deriving insights from data to support marketing, distribution, and business strategy decisions, ensuring optimal performance and growth of the music catalogue.

Responsibilities: Track and analyze music performance across platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube, and audio streaming services. Prepare regular reports and dashboards on key metrics, including streams, views, engagement, and revenue performance. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimize content performance and marketing strategies. Collaborate with marketing, digital, and catalogue teams to provide actionable insights for campaigns and releases. Maintain accurate databases and metadata to support analysis and reporting. Support ad-hoc analysis, forecasting, and performance audits as required. Monitor competitor activity and industry benchmarks to inform strategy.

Must-Have Skills: Strong experience of

5-6 years

in data analysis and reporting, preferably in the music or digital media industry. Foundational understanding of

SQL

and database querying concepts. Proficiency with analytics platforms (YouTube Analytics, Meta Insights) and streaming data dashboards. Advanced Excel skills and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.). Understanding of music metadata, royalty tracking, and digital content performance metrics. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills to present findings to cross-functional teams.
