Job Description:
Albertsons Companies is looking for a Product Manager to support the development and delivery of forecasting and analytics products that power supply chain planning and execution. This role focuses on building internal tools and platforms that leverage data, analytics, and AI/ML models to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making across the supply chain.
You will work closely with Senior Product Managers, Data Science, Engineering, and Supply Chain stakeholders to define requirements, execute roadmaps, and ensure forecasting solutions are intuitive, reliable, and impactful. This role is ideal for a PM who enjoys working at the intersection of business, data, and technology in a complex retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support roadmap execution for forecasting and analytics products across supply chain domains.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into product features and user stories.
Partner with Data Science teams to help operationalize forecasting models into production-ready products.
Collaborate with Engineering and Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Conduct data analysis and exploratory SQL queries to validate assumptions and support prioritization.
Participate in discovery activities including user interviews, workflow analysis, and problem framing.
Define and track success metrics for forecasting products and features.
Support rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement of forecasting tools.
Collaborate with global stakeholders, including exposure to US-based teams.
Experience:
3โ5 years of product management experience or related roles (analytics, consulting, engineering).
Experience working on data-heavy or analytics-driven products.
Exposure to supply chain, retail, grocery, or operations-focused domains is preferred.
Experience working in Agile product development environments.
Required Skills:
Strong foundational product management skills and execution mindset.
Basic to intermediate understanding of forecasting and supply chain planning concepts.
Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis.
Ability to work closely with Data Science and Engineering teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Exposure to ML or AI-driven forecasting solutions.
Understanding of experimentation, metrics, and model performance concepts.
Familiarity with supply chain planning systems or decision support tools.
Experience working with large, complex datasets.
Interest in learning and applying GenAI concepts in planning and analytics contexts.
