Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation & Variable Pay
• Configure compensation templates, worksheets, eligibility rules, budgets, and guidelines
• Set up merit, bonus, stock, and lump sum planning processes
• Configure compensation forms, route maps, and workflows
• Design and implement business rules and foundation objects
• Conduct workshops with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Provide best practice recommendations for compensation planning cycles
• Design compensation structures aligned with company policies
• Integrate Compensation module with:
o Employee Central
o Payroll systems
o Third-party HR systems
• Manage data imports, exports, and template configurations
• Ensure data validation and integrity during planning cycles
• Prepare and execute test cases (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT)
• Support compensation planning cycles
• Troubleshoot configuration and system issues
• Provide post-go-live support
• Develop standard and ad-hoc compensation reports
• Configure Executive Review and roll-up reports
• Support analytics using SAP SuccessFactors reporting tools
• Act as a functional lead for Compensation module
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Payroll)
• Provide user training and documentation
• Mentor junior consultants
Required Skills
• 8+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
• Strong experience in:
o Compensation template configuration
o Variable Pay configuration
o Budgeting and guidelines setup
o Business rules
o Route maps & workflows
• Experience with Employee Central integration
• Knowledge of HR compensation processes (merit, bonus, LTI, STI)
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
Preferred Skills
• SAP SuccessFactors certification in Compensation
• Experience with EC, Performance & Goals modules
• Experience in global implementations
• Knowledge of SAP CPI / Integration Center
• Experience in Agile methodology
