SAP ABAP BW Developer (CDS Views / HANA)

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong knowledge of SAP BW/BW4HANA and hands-on expertise in CDS Views. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in data extraction, data modeling, and ABAP development in SAP HANA–based systems.

Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance ABAP routines (Start/End routines, Field-level routines) for BW data transformations. Create and optimize CDS Views for reporting, analytics, and integration scenarios. Build and maintain BW extractors, data sources, and data flows. Work with BW/4HANA or BW on HANA models (ADSOs, Composite Providers, Transformations). Implement ABAP enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and custom objects. Optimize performance within HANA-based ABAP and BW data models. Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs. Support production issues and ensure stable system operations.

Required Skills & Experience 6–7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience. Hands-on experience in SAP BW or BW/4HANA development. Strong command of CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP on HANA concepts. Experience with BW extractors, data modeling, transformations, and ODP. Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, tables, and data models. Proficient in performance tuning and debugging in HANA environments. Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or embedded analytics. Exposure to Fiori/UI5 (especially when CDS Views feed UI apps). Knowledge of Data Warehousing Bridge, OData services, or API integration.
