Project Manager

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has recently sanctioned a grant to establish an Inclusive Technology Business Incubator (i-TBI) at GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam.

The following six positions are available for a period of 2.5 years, subject to annual renewal based on performance.

1.CEO for inclusive Technology Business Incubator (iTBI):

Qualification and experience:

- PhD in Management or MBA from a reputed institution. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in management and execution.

Job description:

- To mentor and inspire startup ventures to cultivate an innovative culture, assist in transforming ideas into products/IPs, facilitate commercialization, and generate significant value for startups, investors, and the incubator. - To offer comprehensive strategic guidance, establish procedures, guidelines, and best practices to enhance coordination, consolidation, synergy, and the success of both incubators and incubated start-ups. - To provide support for product development and commercialization. - To take the lead in establishing strategic relationships with all stakeholders.

2.Incubation Manager for iTBI:

Qualification and experience:

- PhD in Management or MBA from a reputed institution. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in management and execution.

Job description:

- Collaborate with entrepreneurs and start-ups, adhering to incubator frameworks for onboarding, promotion, and graduation, while monitoring business performance and fostering industry connections. - Mobilize the start-up community by seeking new partnerships, conducting sector analyses, organizing knowledge-sharing events, and maintaining relationships with portfolio companies, mentors, and partners. - Manage the financial records of the i-TBI, and handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the CEO of the i-TBI.

3.Project Engineer for iTBI:

Qualification and experience:

- B.Tech/M.Tech in EEE/ECE/CSE/allied branch - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant domain.

Job description:

- The role involves helping the CEO with technical documents, and incubates to provide technical support in building the prototypes, procurements, managing the labs, etc.

4.Incubation Associate for iTBI:

Qualification and experience:

- MBA/B.Tech.

Job Description:

- Ensuring adherence to the iTBI policy in agreements and managing infrastructure development, space allocation, and general administration.

- Handle administrative tasks, including coordinating with support staff, maintaining stock records, managing vendor agreements, equipment procurement, and ensuring timely utility payments and availability.

- Oversee timely submission of mandated data, manage branding and social media presence, update website content, coordinate event planning with internal teams, and serve as the data owner for presentations and reports to stakeholders.

5.Technician for iTBI:

Qualification and experience:

- Diploma in EEE/ECE/CSE/allied areas with two years of experience or B.Tech in EEE/ECE/CSE/allied areas

Job Description:

- Oversee the proper usage and maintenance of lab equipment, ensure a continuous supply of consumables for prototype building, and maintain the availability of IT systems, including hardware and software. - Maintain records for lab consumables and manage the upkeep and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for IT and lab equipment.
