Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our market expansion efforts in India within the Automated Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and promoting our brand in the local market. This role requires a strong understanding of AIDC technologies (e.g., mobile computers,barcode scanners, RFID, ) and proven experience in developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the Indian AIDC market, targeting industries such as retail, logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare. Identify and qualify new prospects, manage pipelines, and close deals to achieve sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including China-based R&D, marketing, and operations) to align product offerings with local market needs. Lead brand promotion initiatives, including trade shows, webinars, and customer engagement programs. Build and maintain relationships with distributors, resellers, and key accounts. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches. Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through lifecycle management.

Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related fields. 5–10 years of sales experience in the AIDC industry, with a focus on hardware/software solutions for data capture. Proven track record of market expansion in India, including experience in developing new territories or industries. Strong brand promotion skills, with experience in launching products/services in competitive markets. Experience collaborating with international teams (preferably with China-based colleagues) on sales and marketing initiatives. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and local languages (Hindi/regional languages preferred). Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
