Job Summary
Drive awareness and revenue growth for POC and PhysioAssist devices, contributing to overall business objectives, including expanding market share and footprint of Inogen/PhysioAssist product lines in the Indian market. This involves creating new business opportunities (appointing new distributors and supporting existing ones), achieving revenue targets for the territory, and providing clinical and sales support for POC, PhysioAssist, and any future products launched by the company. The primary focus will be to build awareness within the prescription channel and strengthen relationships with business associates to increase revenue and volumes.
Responsibilities
Research competitors and industry trends, including regulatory and reimbursement frameworks.
Build strong, long-term relationships with partners, collaborators, and other stakeholders.
Deliver presentations on products and collaboration opportunities to potential clients and partners.
Generate new business leads through networking, outreach, and referrals.
Negotiate contract terms for new business deals.
Develop strategic plans to enter new markets or boost sales.
Collect and analyze data on business development activities.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, regulatory) to support business growth.
Execution Responsibilities:
Assess market potential for Inogen and PhysioAssist product lines across different regions of India. Prioritize market entry based on potential, competitive presence, reimbursement, price sensitivity, regulatory requirements, and available sales channels.
Recommend distributors based on market analysis and financial commitment; manage contracts, training, and ongoing follow-up.
Identify key players and establish strong relationships with decision-makers, targeted customers, distributors, and KOLs through regular visits.
Conduct training for distribution channels (sales and clinical teams) and end users (hospitals, healthcare professionals/KOLs).
Achieve assigned revenue and volume objectives, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
Forecast demand per distributor and identify risks and opportunities.
Develop sales and marketing strategies for the region in collaboration with international leadership; implement marketing programs with distributors and key users.
Establish distribution contracts with strategic partners and assist in structuring corporate agreements.
Coordinate with the regulatory team to track filings and develop product launch plans prior to regulatory clearance.
Ability to build and lead a team as the business grows.
Provide accurate sales forecasting supported by historical analysis and actionable recommendations.
Act as a results-oriented leader and self-starter, capable of working independently.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Entrepreneurial, independent, responsible, hands-on, and goal oriented.
Strong knowledge of sales and clinical processes.
Experience in medical devices/equipment industry is required.

Qualifications (Experience and Education):
10 years’ experience in the Home Care market, particularly Home Oxygen Market, preferred.
Respiratory Therapist, Cardiopulmonary Therapist, or Kinesiologist background preferred.
Minimum 2 years of prior Business Development or Sales Supervisory/Management experience required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Willingness to travel extensively across India (up to 60%), required.
Intermediate proficiency with CRM tools.
A combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to the above qualifications.
Fluency in English and Hindi (or other regional languages), required.
Location:
India (Delhi/Mumbai/Chennai preferred).
