Programme Lead – Governance & Gender Justice (Implementation & Systems)

About SWATI SWATI is a development organisation working across Gujarat and Rajasthan to strengthen women’s participation in governance and improve institutional accountability within local public systems. Our work integrates community engagement, collaboration with local governance institutions, and structured institutional strengthening. We are currently strengthening our programme leadership and are seeking an experienced professional to anchor implementation and team supervision across districts.

Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Programme Lead – Governance & Gender Justice (Implementation & Systems) located in Ahmedabad. The role involves leading and implementing programs related to governance and gender justice, designing and executing training sessions, monitoring program progress, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Programme Lead will engage with various stakeholders, provide leadership, and facilitate impactful interventions to achieve the program objectives.

Qualifications Demonstrated Program Management skills to effectively plan, organize, and execute program strategies and objectives Strong Analytical Skills to assess program outcomes and identify areas for improvement Excellent Communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and presenting program findings or updates effectively Experience in conducting Training sessions with various stakeholders and partners Proficiency in report writing and documentation Sensitivity and commitment towards gender justice and governance issues Master's degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred
