Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Chennai, India. As a Senior Product Manager within the Retail Data Science Product Team, you will lead the end‑to‑end development of data‑driven products that power Lenskart’s retail operations. You will partner closely with data science, engineering, retail operations, and business stakeholders to build intelligent systems that enhance store performance, elevate customer experience and optimize decision‑making across the retail network.

You will define product vision and strategy, shape the roadmap, gather and prioritize requirements, translate data science capabilities into scalable product experiences, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality solutions. The role also includes analyzing product performance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adoption of data‑powered tools across retail teams.

Qualifications

- Experience in product management with exposure to data‑driven products, analytics platforms, or data science workflows.

- Familiarity with AI and ML concepts; hands‑on understanding of computer vision is a strong plus.

- A natural tinkerer — someone who experiments, prototypes and actively explores new technologies.

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with solid understanding of retail and operational performance metrics.

- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.

- Experience with user research, requirement gathering and converting insights into product capabilities.

- Proven track record of delivering high‑quality products on schedule.

- Ability to think strategically while executing with attention to detail.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field; MBA is a plus.

- Experience in retail or omnichannel businesses is an advantage.
