Job Title: Consultant – SAP HCM (India Payroll)

Location: RBI – BKC, Mumbai (Onsite/Hybrid as per project requirement)

Experience: 5–8 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant with strong expertise in India Payroll and statutory compliance to join a high-impact engagement at RBI, BKC (Mumbai).

The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of hands-on SAP HCM experience, including at least one end-to-end implementation, and deep understanding of HR and payroll processes within regulated environments such as Banking or Public Sector organizations.

Education

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Management (Mandatory)

➕ Master’s Degree in Engineering / Management (Preferred)

➕ SAP HCM Certification (Added Advantage)

Key Responsibilities

✔ Analyze and document current HR and Payroll processes in detail

✔ Prepare Business Blueprint documents and obtain client sign-off

✔ Configure SAP HCM modules including:

- OM (Organizational Management) - PA (Personnel Administration) - PY (India Payroll) - Time Management - ESS / MSS

✔ Configure and modify Time Schemas & PCRs

✔ Configure Absences, Attendances, Work Schedules, Holiday Calendars, and Absence Quotas

✔ Set up and maintain Wage Types for payroll processing

✔ Ensure compliance with India statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.)

✔ Prepare Functional Specifications for ABAP developments

✔ Conduct testing, UAT coordination, and user training

✔ Support enhancements, change requests, and bug fixes

✔ Prepare documentation and reporting using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Required Experience & Skills

✔ 5–8 years of SAP HCM experience

✔ Minimum 1 end-to-end implementation

✔ Strong exposure to India Payroll & statutory compliance

✔ Experience in Banking / Public Sector / Shared Services environments

✔ Strong understanding of HR domain processes

✔ Knowledge of BRF+ (preferred)

✔ Excellent client-facing communication skill
