Role Description
This is a full-time, Hybrid role on-site role located in Hosur & Bangalore for a Battery Pack Engineer. The Battery Pack Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of battery pack systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety standards. In addition to this the Battery Pack Engineer shall be responsible for setting up manufacturing lines to run multiple products. The responsibilities include conducting research and development in energy storage systems, optimizing battery pack components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product efficiency. Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and compliance with industry standards is expected.
Qualifications
Expertise in Batteries and Energy Storage systems
Knowledge of Materials Science and its application in battery technology
Proficiency in Electrical Engineering as it pertains to energy systems
Experience in Research and Development (R&D) in energy solutions
Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
Familiarity with safety and quality standards in battery technology and energy systems
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
Prior experience in the electric vehicle industry is a plus
