About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Finance to lead the finance function for a luxury hospitality business based in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in luxury hotels, premium restaurants, or catering businesses. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes - Drive long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals - Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership

Financial Operations & Reporting

- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Ensure accuracy in MIS reporting and financial analysis - Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management

Cost Control & Profitability

- Implement cost optimization strategies across departments - Conduct profitability analysis for outlets, events, and business verticals - Strengthen internal controls and financial discipline

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure statutory compliance including GST, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory requirements - Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions - Establish strong internal audit and risk management frameworks

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team - Develop SOPs and streamline financial processes - Collaborate closely with operations and business heads

Candidate Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in luxury hotels, restaurants, or catering businesses - Strong understanding of hospitality financial structures and cost dynamics - Proven leadership and team management experience - Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
