Key Accounts Manager
role. The selected candidate will be responsible for strengthening relationships with key clients, driving business growth, and achieving sales objectives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement account strategies and ensure seamless customer service delivery and execute initiatives that enhance client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the FMCG sector, including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, preferences, and market trends.
Proactively identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and introduce new products to key accounts.
2. Account Planning and Strategy:
Assist in developing strategic account plans aligned with company objectives and sales targets.
Conduct thorough analyses of client performance, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the Key Accounts Manager to develop pricing strategies, promotional plans, and trade marketing initiatives for key accounts.
Monitor account performance metrics, sales trends, and inventory levels to optimize sales and profitability.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on account strategies and objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to support key account initiatives, including new product launches, promotions, and trade shows.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and key accounts to address issues, resolve conflicts, and drive mutual success.
4. Contract Management and Negotiation:
Assist in negotiating and renewing contracts with key clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, pricing agreements, and promotional commitments.
Collaborate with the Legal and Finance departments to review contracts, resolve disputes, and manage financial transactions.
5. Performance Analysis and Optimization:
Conduct regular performance reviews of key accounts, analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement within key accounts.
Recommend and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Role Requirements:
Proven experience in key account management within the FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of retail and distribution channels.
Knowledge of
FMCG product categories, market dynamics, and consumer trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and derive actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Education:
Graduate / Post Graduate
with
Marketing, Sales, or a related field. (from a reputed institution is preferred)
Experience:
3-7 years of relevant experience in FMCG/Food products Industry )
Working days:
Monday to Saturday (Saturday is WFH)
