About the Role
The Deputy Manager - L&D will be responsible for the end-to-end employee development lifecycle within the Central Zone. You will ensure seamless on boarding, drive long-term learning journeys, and partner with business leaders to enhance the sales and technical capabilities of our internal teams and external channel partners.
Key
Responsibilities
1. On-boarding & Induction Excellence
Execute a
30-day blended induction program
for all new hires, incorporating:
E-learning modules via the Learning Management System (LMS).
Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions.
Coordinating factory visits to ensure product knowledge and brand immersion.
Monitor and drive the
3-month and 6-month learning journeys , ensuring employees meet milestones and competency benchmarks.
2. Performance-Linked Training (Sales & Functional)
Consult with Sales and Functional Leaders to identify skill gaps.
Design and deliver ad-hoc training sessions focused on
Sales Excellence , including:
Pitching and Negotiation skills.
Objection handling and Client follow-up strategies.
Analyze LMS data to ensure 100% completion rates for mandatory functional training.
3. Strategic Planning & Channel Partner Training
Publish and manage the
Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Yearly Training Calendars
for the Central Zone.
Organize
Open Learning Events
(Online & Offline) for the wider ecosystem, including dealer staff, service technicians, and in-shop promoters.
4. Stakeholder Coordination & Corporate Alignment
Act as the bridge between the Head Office (HO) L&D team and local operations.
Collaborate with external learning consultants to execute corporate skill development initiatives locally.
5. Assessment & Analytics
Design effective
quizzes, questionnaires, and feedback mechanisms
to measure training effectiveness.
Maintain and present training data using
MS Excel
to report on KPIs, attendance, and ROI of learning programs.
Knowledge & Skill sets:
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a positive, professional body language.
Technical:
Advanced skills in MS Excel (data visualization) and experience managing an LMS.
Instructional Delivery:
Proven ability to engage diverse audiences, from corporate staff to field technicians.
Interpersonal:
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Organizational:
Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to manage multiple training timelines and regional logistics simultaneously.
Problem-solving:
Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
Learning Agility:
A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Education :
Masterโs degree
(Preferred).
Bachelorโs degree with the above skill sets may also apply.
Experience :
08-10 years of relevant experience in Training
Skills:
Experience in Designing, developing, and implementing tailored training programs โ technical and behavioral.
Proficiency in creating instructional materials and conducting needs assessments.
Experience in designing and managing LMS platforms
Strong presentation skills. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
Adaptability, problem-solving, and change management skills.
