Role Purpose
We are looking for a high-impact
Business Development professional to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth
for our Innovation, Product Design, and Packaging Development services.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and commercial execution. You will be
responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, positioning innovation-led offerings, and converting leads into long-term partnerships —especially across cosmetics, personal care, beauty, home care, and consumer product sectors.
Key Responsibilities : New Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify, target, and acquire new clients for innovation, product development, and packaging design and development services.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline across startups, mid-size brands, and large FMCG/CPG companies.
Lead outbound and inbound business development activities: prospecting, pitch meetings, proposals, and negotiations.
Build strong relationships with brand owners, OEM companies, ODM Companies, R&D heads, marketing leaders, innovation teams, and founders.
Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy
Position the company’s innovation, product, and packaging design and development capabilities
clearly and compellingly in the market.
Collaborate with design and innovation teams to translate capabilities into market-ready propositions.
Driving and Creating of marketing content along with cross functional team
(presentations, case studies, website content, LinkedIn posts, Social Media Content, thought leadership).
Drive brand visibility
through events, industry forums, partnerships, and digital channels.
Innovation & Solution Selling
Understand client challenges
across product innovation, packaging design, sustainability, UX, speed-to-market, and cost optimization.
Co-create customized solutions by aligning client needs
with internal design, engineering, and innovation expertise.
Present innovation-led value propositions, not just services—focusing on impact, differentiation, and ROI.
Support early-stage ideation workshops, innovation road map discussions, and strategic engagements.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Mapping
Track market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging needs
in cosmetics, personal care, and consumer products in alignment with trend & cross-functional team.
Identify whitespace opportunities
for new service offerings and innovation platforms.
Feed market insights back into leadership and innovation teams
to refine offerings and positioning.
Revenue Ownership & Growth
Client Engagement and New Acquisitions : 5-10 new clients or projects secured monthly.
Own revenue targets
for new business acquisition.
Commission & Annual Bonus linked to New client acquisition and project secured.
Support pricing strategy, proposal development, and commercial negotiations .
Build long-term client partnerships
that lead to repeat business and strategic accounts.
Required Skills & Experience
3-4+ years’ experience in Business Development, Marketing ,
Consulting Sales,
or Innovation-led Services.
Exposure to product development , packaging, design, innovation consulting, or FMCG ecosystems.
Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth.
Preferred experience and flavor of working with cosmetics, personal care, beauty, or consumer brands is strongly preferred.
Commercial & Strategic Skills
Strong consultative selling capability —able to sell complex, high-value innovation services.
Good stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to translate technical or creative capabilities into clear business value.
Communication & Presentation
Confident presenter with strong storytelling and pitching skills .
Able to communicate effectively with senior leadership, founders, R&D, marketing, and design teams.
Strong proposal writing
and
negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
MBA or BBA equivalent business qualification preferred.
Experience in innovation agencies, Start Up firms, design studios, consulting firms, or NPD organizations.
Exposure to global markets and cross-cultural client engagement is a plus.
