Senior Engineer

Job Purpose: Achieve day-to-day management at Production area through 4M, to meet the Efficiency targets. Principal Accountabilities: Ensuring availability of Materials at all zone’s of your Group. Coordinate with other GL’s/PPC /Managers on these aspects. Coordinate with HR/Production manager for Man power availability at your Group. Ensure Zero Repetitive issues by taking necessary counter measures (rework) including updating of check sheets with Quality. Develop Jigs and Fixtures, Pokayokes for standardization & Speedy work. Training of all Zone Leaders for job requirements. Implementing of KAIZEN. Coordination with Design on Drawing clarification Daily Pickup plan for dispatch & Trailer Availability (Only for Outside PDI area) Responsible for performance of Zone Leaders based on Safety, Quality, Productivity, 3S and machine up keep

Knowledge & Skills needed to deliver on the accountabilities: Sound technical skills – Heavy Fabrication Welding & Painting Process. 5S and Basic shop floor safety Management. Production Efficiency Planning & Communication skills. Poka-yoke through Template and Fixtures. problem-solving skills Standardized work – Work instruction sheet, Work load balancing. Min Max Management. FIFO. Training – Shop floor Management Formal Education Requirements, as applicable: Diploma/ B. Tech / BE - Mechanical Years of relevant Experience needed:

Minimum of 4+ years relevant experience in manufacturing industry in heavy Fabrication
