REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, Human Resources

Position Summary
We are looking for a Director, Talent Acquisition (TA) to design and apply strategies that will help us attract, hire, and retain top talent. Our approach to TA is a strategic one, and we aspire to build consultative relationships with internal teams to help grow the business while getting to know external candidates.
Responsibilities include managing a team of Recruiters and helping to craft sourcing strategies for various roles, from entry-level to executive-level positions. You should be able to ensure we provide excellent candidate experience, while meeting our business goals and filling our vacancies. Ultimately, you will help to build a strong employer brand for our company so that we can develop strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Human Resources.
Main Duties
· Design and execute recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate and hire qualified candidates
· Manage and develop the TA team.
· Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs
· Act as an escalation point for recruitment issues as well as day-to-day matters.
· Ensure the TA team understands and delivers against recruitment priorities and exceed set benchmarks on hiring manager satisfaction and candidate experience at the company level.
· Along with the Sr. Director of Human Resources, help create and roll out innovative hiring programs to attract talent in highly competitive markets and regions and developing long-term strategies to increase the employment brand.
· Champion and communicate culture, opportunities as the group continues to grow and scale.
· Lead and drive diversity and inclusion recruitment efforts, including helping to refine recruitment strategy, initiatives, and metrics.
· Participate in a project to complete a thorough review of job descriptions, partner with the business to rewrite them to maximize accuracy, inclusivity, and attractiveness. Establishing a process to ensure fresh writing standards are maintained.
· Operate as a hands-on troubleshooter and consultant. An intrapreneur who can identify challenges and lean in to help wherever needed.
· Participate in our company’s strategic planning regarding employee development and engagement
· Research and recommend new sourcing tools and recruiting software (e.g., ATS)

· A passion for the TA function overall
· Proven work experience as a Director of Talent Acquisition or in a similar senior-level TA leadership role
· Experience managing and regularly engaging hybrid or permanently remote team members
· Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing and evaluation
· Solid knowledge of labor and employment legislation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· An ability to be resilient, manage change and stay enthusiastic
· Proven problem solver with multi-market experience, using a consultative approach to deliver happiness and joy to hiring managers, candidates, and TA colleagues alike.
· Reliable, responsive, and organized, prioritizes ruthlessly
· Ability to influence and partner with distinct levels of the organization to achieve results
· Strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis
· Demonstrated ability to apply strategic thinking yet focused on execution and can dip into tactical work when required
· Strong knowledge of current trends, innovations, and best practices in talent acquisition
