About the Team: Global Finance Services (GFS) serves as the finance support function for WTW across segments and geographies. Based in Mumbai, the Record to Report (RTR) and Plan to Perform (PTP) teams comprise of professionals, including Chartered Accountants, MBA Finance graduates, and accounting specialists at both graduate and postgraduate levels. This highly experienced group provides a wide range of financial services, leveraging their expertise to deliver consistent, high-quality support across the organization

Job Summary: A motivated accounting professional with 2–3 years of experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for adding value within the General Accounting function. Skilled in supporting finance operations across multiple global legal entities, coordinating with diverse business units and central finance teams. Possesses a solid understanding of core accounting practices, with the ability to work independently, analyze complex issues, and resolve country-specific queries. Demonstrates effective communication, adaptability to dynamic environments, and proficiency in learning and implementing new systems

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible for managing International & Western Europe Country Accounts and liaison with respective country CFO’s / Accountants to ensure a smooth Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly closing. Monthly reporting on Accounts, Budgets, Forecasting, Expense Analysis, Intercompany Reconciliations. Reverting to and following up on International & Western Europe queries. Ensure that all the International & Western Europe Country Accounting books are closed by Workday4 as per Local GAAP & US GAAP. Take the responsibility to reconcile all the International & Western Europe country accounts with the General Ledger within the Group timelines thereby highlighting and resolving the differences. Ensure that all International & Western Europe and Western Europe Countries submit various MIS reports, Cash Flows, CFO Certificates and also present the reports to United Kingdom counterparts as per Group Specific Timelines. To support new systems. Support the team in day-to-day management of accounts. Review the objectives with the team to understand the strategies and challenge areas in meeting them. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Participate in knowledge sharing forums across the organization. Ensure absolute data integrity and minimize the error related to processing. Monitor Compliance guidelines in achieving the monthly Targets/Metrics. Ensure application of controls to overcome loopholes in the processes. Monitor and achieve the Metrics of the team.

Required Skills: Excellent stakeholder management skills and proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels whilst working under pressure. Understanding of the role of Finance within a large multinational organisation. Good financial background with a good understanding of all aspects of finance. Good understanding of financial systems e.g. Oracle, etc. Ability to handle multiple projects in a changing environment Has strong critical thinking and the ability to assess various complex issues and come to quick solutions. Excellent analytical skills Appreciation for data integrity, process definition and organizational alignment. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality Strong Communication skills, Team player Eye for detail and comfort in managing data Keen for new experience, responsibility, accountability and professional development Ability to adapt to changing environment and New Systems

Qualifications: Graduate or Postgraduate Should have Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to work independently without constant supervision, but with ability to communicate issues, delays and exceptions as necessary. Building good relationships with offshore teams and influencing individuals. Previous experience that demonstrates ownership, management and development of end-to-end process. Knowledge of US GAAP, working knowledge of Oracle General Ledger system, Blackline Reconciliation System & Business Object Tool
